Seattle's Hilarious, Hate Free COmedy Cult

Accessibility Practices
At Cult of Babbleonanon, accessibility isn’t an afterthought — it’s the starting point. We believe comedy should be available to everyone, regardless of identity, ability, or income. That’s why we build shows around people, not buildings.
We work with venues to meet physical, sensory, and financial accessibility needs — and when they can’t, we push for better or bring the show somewhere else. We’re not here to check a box. We’re here to create comedy spaces where everyone can show up, feel welcome, and laugh without barriers.
Because if the audience can’t get in, there is no show.
-
We partner with venues that meet or are working toward basic accessibility standards (step-free entry, accessible restrooms, clear paths of travel).
-
We avoid venues with known barriers and prioritize those with elevators, ramps, and flexible seating.
-
If full accessibility isn’t possible, we clearly communicate limitations in advance and work with the venue to improve over time.
Physical Access & Design
-
We aim for sensory-aware environments — this may include low-stimulus seating areas, reduced strobe/flash lighting, and content warnings when applicable.
-
Hosts and performers are briefed on creating inclusive, respectful environments for neurodiverse and disabled audience members.
-
We work toward creating a culture where requests and accommodations are met with care — not confusion.
Sensory & Cognitive Culture
-
We keep ticket prices low and transparent
-
Whenever possible, we offer:
-
Sliding-scale pricing
-
Pay-what-you-can options
-
Comp tickets for community partners and those in need
-
No hidden fees
-
No drink minimums
-
Fiscal Accessibility
We don’t tolerate hate speech, harassment, or ableist, racist, transphobic, or misogynistic content.
Our definition of “funny” doesn’t rely on mocking others — we punch up, not down.
Performers and audience members alike are expected to uphold a standard of mutual respect.
Inclusive Policy & Culture
-
We disclose venue accessibility details ahead of each event — including entry, restrooms, lighting, seating, and parking info.
-
If a show isn’t accessible, we say so — and we say why.
-
We welcome feedback and use it to evolve. Every show is a chance to do better.
Communication & Transparency
